If you got some wood leftovers, why not build a vertical herb garden? It is easy to make,  you get to grown your own and it is space saving.

Just measure the size you want and mount it together.

Remember to drill a hole in the bottom to let the water out.

You can make different sizes to different herbs.

I used plastic bags in the bottom with holes in or fiber clothes.
